These terms
The website at https://vytley.com (the “Site”) is operated by Vytley (“we”, “us”). These Terms of Use govern your use of the Site and the Service. Related rules (Privacy Policy, Cookie Notice, Accessibility statement, and, for hosts, the Data Processing Addendum) are part of this agreement.
By using the Site you agree to these terms. If you are creating invitations for someone else, you confirm you are allowed to do so. You must be 16 or over to join the waitlist. Invitation guests of any age may open a link a host has sent them.
Vytley is being improved in the open. Features on the Site may change. Wallet passes need platform certificates; until those are in place, guests can open the invitation in the browser and add the event to a calendar.
Access and our content
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable licence to use the Site for your own events, not to resell the Service as a white-label product or to reverse-engineer it except as the law allows.
The Site, designs, software and Vytley marks remain ours or our licensors’. Your names, wording, photographs and guest list remain yours. You grant us only the permission needed to host and deliver them.
If you send us feedback about the Site, we may use it without paying you. Do not send feedback you need to keep confidential.
We may change or pause parts of the Site. We work to keep Vytley available but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Wallet passes already on a device remain readable if the Site is briefly down.
Your event and guest data
You are responsible for the accuracy of what you publish, and for permission to contact everyone on the guest list, including children you include.
When you upload a guest list you are the controller of that data. The Data Processing Addendum at /dpa describes how we process it. You confirm you have a lawful basis for sharing it with us, and you agree not to use Vytley to send unsolicited marketing.
Acceptable use and guest content
Do not use Vytley to send unlawful, deceptive or harassing content, to impersonate anyone, to upload sexual content involving anyone under 18, or to misrepresent a religious or cultural tradition in a way intended to offend.
Guestbook messages, voice notes and photos come from guests. Anyone with the invitation link can report a message; we hide reported entries and log the report. Hosts may also ask us to take something down. We may suspend access that breaches these terms.
Repeat misuse can lead to a lasting block. Authorities can reach us at hello@vytley.com.
Privacy, cookies and other services
Personal information is described in the Privacy Policy. If these Terms and the Privacy Policy conflict on data, the Privacy Policy controls.
Cookies and similar technologies are described in the Cookie Notice.
The Site may link to Apple, Google, maps or other third parties. Their terms apply on those services. Your interactions with other guests are between you and them.
Payment and refunds
Packages are priced once per event in pounds sterling. Nothing is charged until payment is actually taken. There is no card checkout on the Site yet. A draft you never send costs nothing.
When payment exists and you send, you ask us to deliver immediately. You would agree that the usual 14-day cooling-off right for distance contracts ends at that point because the invitation has been issued. Your rights if the service is not as described still apply. An electronic withdrawal function will sit next to send once checkout is live.
After we have taken payment for a send, we do not refund for a change of mind, because guest links have gone out. If we cannot provide the service you paid for, or the invitation is not as described, we refund you in full. Write to hello@vytley.com; we will refund within 14 days of agreeing the claim. These terms do not take away your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, or our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
For anything else, our liability arising from a given event is limited to the amount you paid us for that event (or, if you have paid nothing, to a reasonable amount for a free visit).
The Site is provided as available. We do not promise that it is error-free. Statutory rights that cannot be excluded still apply.
US state notices
California: complaints may be sent to the California Department of Consumer Affairs, Consumer Services, 1625 N. Market Blvd, Suite N-112, Sacramento, CA 95834, (800) 952-5210. The provider of the Site is Vytley; contact hello@vytley.com. CCPA rights are in the Privacy Policy.
Nevada: to direct us not to sell covered information (we do not currently sell it), email hello@vytley.com. Other US state privacy rights are in the Privacy Policy.
These US notices do not replace mandatory consumer protections where you live.
Accessibility, changes and contact
We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 AA. Tell us about barriers at hello@vytley.com or on the Accessibility page.
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted on this page. Continued use after that date is acceptance of the update, except where the law requires a different process.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you may also bring a claim where you live. EU consumers keep any mandatory protections of the country where they live.
We do not require UK or EU consumers to use binding arbitration or to waive class or collective procedures that the law preserves for them.
